What are your office hours?

Clients are seen by appointment only within the following availability:
Mon – Thurs, 11am to 7pm
Fri, 11am – 3pm

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation, if you are interested in speaking before starting services to see if I would be the right fit for you.
How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call or email as soon as possible. You may also manage your appointments via your client portal account.

A late-cancellation fee for sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice (as well as a no-show fee for missed sessions with no notice given) is assessed in most circumstances.
How much do sessions cost?

The cost of an initial assessment appointment is $150.

Each 50-minute session is assessed at $125 per session.

A limited number of sliding scale slots are available based on need, and for 6 months following the date of your initial assessment.
How many sessions will I need?

The answer to this question is individualized and depends on many factors such as, but not limited to: Severity of presenting issue(s), financial ability, availability, and motivation and readiness for change.

Throughout the course of treatment you and I will assess your progress towards treatment goals, which may help approximate the timeline for termination.
How often are sessions offered?

Sessions are offered on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis based on each client’s need.

How often a client is seen is often based on my clinical recommendation following an initial assessment, and the appropriateness of the frequency is assessed on an ongoing basis.
Do you provide 24-hour crisis or emergency services?

No, I do not provide crisis or emergency services.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1 immediately.

If you or someone you know is feeling suicidal or in an emotional crisis, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or at 1-800-273-TALK. They are available 24 hours a day.
Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. Providing services on a self-pay basis allows me to spend more time with my clients, as managing the demands and criteria of insurance companies can be significantly time consuming. It also allows me to reinforce the self-determination of my clients who are able to make decisions about their services without the limitations of an insurance provider.

Insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to cover the cost of services. For some, a diagnosis can give direction to treatment and ultimately be healing. However, for others a diagnosis can feel limiting and damaging. My clients are able to receive the education and understanding which supports their healing, without the potential burden of a diagnosis.
Can I be reimbursed for services by my insurance?

I can not guarantee that your insurance provider will reimburse you for your out-of-pocket services.

If you wish to request reimbursement for your private pay services, I can provide you with a superbill that may support your request.

*A diagnosis may also be required for reimbursement.
