The ABCs of CBT
Understanding the relationship between our thoughts, feelings and behavior is an essential skill to our ability to practice effective coping. This group is appropriate for adolescents ages 14-17yo who have difficulty with experiencing uncomfortable emotions, with identifying and communicating their needs, and who may be engaging in behavior which present challenges in the home and/or school environment.

Coping with Emotionally Unavailable Parents
A safe space to unpack, process and develop skills for effectively managing the challenges of being the adult child of a parent who lacks emotional intelligence.
Group Goals:
- Normalize the experiences of adult children with unmet emotional needs and their impact on the parent-child dynamic.
- Improve group members’ understanding of the impact of generational patterns on the parent-child relationship.
- Improve group members’ confidence in and comfort with establishing and reinforcing effective boundaries to support healthier parent-child dynamic.
